About Us
Founded in 1948 by Howard Clennon,Clennon Electric has been serving the electrical construction industry for years. From its humble beginning as a local electrical service repair company, Clennon Electric has evolved and grown with the community and the surrounding industries gaining a focus in other areas of electrical construction.Clennon Electric’s experience spans many industries including petro-chemical, pharmaceutical, production lines, paper, homeland security, and utilities. From small to large projects, we have the personnel in place to make sure your expectations are met... and exceeded!
Being a union shop, all of our electricians are trained at the Joint Apprenticeship Training Center (JATC), the training program jointly sponsored by the Eastern Illinois Chapter of NECA and IBEW Local 176. Our electricians are experienced professionals with extensive training in all of the electrical services we provide. JATC graduates have an associate degree of Applied Science in Electrical Construction Technology. Additionally, as an industry leader, continuing education is encouraged for all members of the Clennon Electric team.

Under the ownership of Christine Humphries, Clennon Electric embraces its third generation of family leadership as a woman owned business.
