A legacy that started in 1948—and keeps earning trust.
Founded in 1948 by Howard Clennon, our company has grown through three generations by doing the basics exceptionally well: show up prepared, communicate clearly, and deliver quality workmanship.
Today, Clennon Electric is proudly woman-owned under Christine Humphries. We remain family-built and community-committed—serving Will, Grundy, and Kankakee counties with the same attention to detail that built our reputation.
How we work
Union-trained electricians. Safety-first execution.
As a union shop, our electricians are trained through the Joint Apprenticeship Training Center (JATC) sponsored by NECA (Eastern Illinois Chapter) and IBEW Local 176. We support continuing education so our crews stay current with codes, technology, and best practices.
